Client Z booked an Offload session with me after realising that things had gotten on top of her, lockdown had highlighted how tough things had and are at home living with someone who struggles with their mental health.
The walking around on eggshells was heightened and she was finding it exhausting and energy-zapping. Z also realised they were acting and reacting in a way that wasn’t right or comfortable for them. She was being triggered by what was going on for her husband, this was causing more arguments and disagreements.
Home life was not feeling very comfortable and with no one to offload to it was beginning to affect her overall mood, she didn’t want the children to be affected but she could feel herself ‘losing it’ with them more.
She explained how snappy she was with the kids and how this was adding to the uncomfortable feelings inside, the guilt, the frustration, feeling alone, having to cope all the time and keep everything together whilst feeling like she was hanging on by her fingertips.
The hour with me gave her a chance to offload her feelings in a safe space with someone who understands what it is like living with some who suffers from poor mental health.
The explanation about the brain was also very helpful, it helped her to understand more about what is going on inside of them. The technique was also very helpful for her and Z has been using it with ease and great success since our session.
Does any of this sound familiar?
